Finally, the last part of my throwback post is here! So let me share to you the Series were the current CMS version belongs. Presenting, the CMS v6.0 Series.
To start, I'll be showing the v6.0 E only since the next in the series were the first versions released in this blog.
The v6 series of CMS is a set of Macro-enabled Microsoft Excel Worksheet files meaning there is a program included to make some functions to operate. For the first time, a version with an extension in its name. So I will tell you what is "E" on the v6.0 E.
The v6 series' main features are "Themes and Highlights"
The 'E' in the version name stands for 'Evolution' since this version gives another face of CMS and stands also for 'Ed' since this month falls my birthday (thus it was named after me XD).
A new face of the UI on the first sheet makes the v6.0 E special. For this month, it is covered in blue since it is my favorite color and that is the theme for this version. The v5.0's UI was adopted so there's no difference in the procedures in recording data (only on the format when entering data was changed). Aside from that, the date includes Days making the Month be removed in the dates thus showing only the date (number).
The highlights is the one that follows whenever you change the row of the active cell within the system. This gives recording more emphasis and make the system as a whole special.
Also in the first sheet, the 18th day has different format from the rest of the rows and I won't have to explain it anymore why it was made like that.
Same was also done on the Second Sheet (it s back from its original position) the Comparison Table, the 18th day has a different format. Remarks column shows Equal and not OK anymore to make the remark more appropriate to the comparison.

Weekly Analysis Table v2.0 |
The last sheet is the Financial Statements Sheet with the newly arranged Statement of Financial Position that is now presented in a report form. Also, you can see a brand new Budget Table and with the new name "Project and Budget Table". The table now recognizes Gain or Loss on Estimate unlike in the previous version of the table. Also there were 4 slots for projects. The sheet is covered in Sky blue background.
The v6.0 was a nice birthday treat for me since it was special and a little innovative. I enjoyed the highlights feature of the system but this made the system a little bit laggy or slow. Another issue is when opening the Weekly Analysis Table for the first time, there were missing data as seen on the photo of the Weekly Analysis Table v2.0 above. But when you scroll the sheet down until it was not seen on the screen then when you came to look for those cells, they contain the data. You can also see the data after opening other sheets and view the third sheet again.
To summarize all the main features of each versions:
v1.0.0 Beta Test File
v2.0.0 Organized UI
v2.1.0 Vacation Spending Version
v3.0.0 UI improvement and Goal Table
v4.0.0 Financial Statements
v5.0.7 Weekly Analysis Table
v6.0.20 Themes and Highlights
That is all for my throwback posts. In the next few days, I'll be posting some teasers as what I have promised in my previous throwback posts. Stay tuned!
