Throwback! CMS v4.0

Okay guys we are getting closer and closer to the end of this throwback posts. After the v3.0 here comes the v4.0 already and obviously it is for the month of August. Here are the things that makes the v4.0 distinct from the versions 3.0 and below.

Presenting to you the Cash Management v4.0!

The CMS v4.0 is a more colorful version of CMS v3.0 when it comes to the physical appearance of the first sheet. In v4.0, the title, Cash Receipts is now a Division together with the Cash Payments having the Cash Receipts (Allowance) and Cash Receipts (Obligations) as its categories. The Weekly Total is more emphasized to easily determine the end of each week.

Another percentage column was added beside the Allowance Balance. Receivables and Payables were renamed into Cash Payments (Obligations) and Cash Receipts (Obligations) respectively and so with the notes into Disclosures on...
There is an accrued Balance below the Accounts Area where you can enter the previous month's obligations balance.

The Cash on Hand Table was renamed into Comparison Table which is the CMS C's name for the sheet. As you can see on the photo Remarks column occupies only 1 column since I have learned to create one indicator using a formula.

The mark of v4.0 is the Financial Statements sheet wherein you can see the month end balances of earnings, cash on hand, and accrued receivables or payables (netted). In this sheet also, the v3.0's goal table is found only that the sheet is renamed since it goal table is a financial statement also.
Honestly saying, v3.0 is good enough but applying what I learn in school is better. That is why v4.0 is a way better than v3.0, do you agree with me? Issues found is that the actual receivables and payables balances are not shown in the financial statements since they are netted against each other.

Almost done having the throwback, two more versions to go and that is for v5.0 and v6.0 so stay tuned to discover more things that help me build CMS v6.0 series. Remember after the throwback posts, I will be posting the teasers for the upcoming CMS 2015.
